Do you want to combine a classic, historical and cultural walking tour and a food tour? You came to the right place!:) Eat Budapest and taste Hungarian cuisine to the fullest, while seeing iconic landmarks and learning about the history and the culture! We are 2 experienced and professional local guides (a former gastronomy journalist and a major foodie and restaurant enthusiast:)). We meet at the Great Market Hall, where we give you a historical and cultural overview of the market hall, the area and Hungarian cuisine. We'll have 2 tastings inside: a charcureie board and pastries. From there we continue our culinary journey and visit a local eatery for hot meals and drinks,a confectionary for cakes and of course we'll try chimney cake, Hungarian pálinka (the local strong alcohol), Hungarian wine, bar snacks and lángos! Throughout the tour all questions not just regarding the food scene, but every day affairs, Hungarian culture and history are welcome, as we are both licensed tour guides, who do historical tours as well. You'll leave this tour with a full stomach, full of knowledge and a list of our personal recommendations! We also keep in touch with our guests thourghout their stay and try to help them even after the tour. The activity ends in the city center, from where you can easily continue your sightseeing or access your hotel for a nap after all the food :) Explore Hungarian flavours with your guides born and raised in Budapest, telling you all the secrects about Hungarian culture and cuisine!
