Description
Join us at a Sunday evening concert featuring the gems of centuries of organ music. Come to relax and experience the beauty, passion, and uplifting nature of perfectly written classical music performed by great musicians. Varied solo organ or chamber music concerts are offered in the series depending on the date of your visit. Old Hungarian organ music and pieces composed by Bach, Dubois, Franck, Handel, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Purcell or Vivaldi have all been selected to provide visitors with quality entertainment and lasting experience. The creative director and main organist of the series is Miklós Teleki, who is an excellent Hungarian musician giving 90-100 recitals a year. Guest musicians include two wonderful soprano singers: the Liszt-prize winning Ingrid Kertesi and Edina Bernáth-Kersák, and you can listen to László Simai playing the trumpet on two occasions. And you can meet two great organists - Tamás Lozsányi and László Varga - at one recital each.
