Overall, this is a nice hotel in an excellent location. However, the welcome could have been much warmer, and the towels looked like they belonged to another century. Unfortunately, the pillows were far too flat and very uncomfortable. The floor had several brown stains, and the next day we noticed the housekeeping cart was stocked with a number of items that were missing from our room. The light above the bathroom mirror wasn't working, and the breakfast was rather disappointing. We were also never informed that there was an à la carte menu available, which was a shame. That said, we would still consider staying here again because of the fantastic location. However, if we encountered similar issues, we would definitely insist on having them fixed or ask to be moved to a different room.
It was a good choice in Budapest. At a walking distance from the Royal Palace and the Parlament across the Danube. You can walk to Pest by bridge. Ultimately, you're in a quiet place and no brawl of Buda disturbs your sleep at night. Also, you're at a walking distance from the station if you wish to travel to Szentendre.
Great location with a quiet room, The staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are a good size, AC works well, there is a mini fridge in the room. However, the carpets are stained in the room. I think the room is clean, but the sight of carpet stains and odd smell in the room really take away from the stay
We spent three lovely days at Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest, and this stay has become the most beautiful highlight of our trip to Budapest. Special thanks to the sweet front desk lady DALMA. All the staff here are incredibly warm, kind and attentive. The hotel facilities are delicate, clean and well-kept, making people feel relaxed and comfortable all the time. The most touching surprise was for my girlfriend’s birthday. The staff carefully noticed this special day and prepared a lovely birthday card together with a bottle of champagne for us secretly. Such a warm and thoughtful gesture deeply warmed our hearts and made our journey full of romance and sweet memories. What’s more, the hotel has cooperation with Michelin restaurants. The dining experience here is absolutely amazing, every dish is exquisite and full of surprises. We truly enjoyed every moment here. It’s such a wonderful and cozy boutique hotel. We sincerely recommend it to all friends who come to Budapest. We will miss this lovely place dearly and hope to come back again someday.
The location is perfect. All the staff were very professional and friendly, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast, the hot dishes were excellent. I would like to share a few small suggestions for improvement: • Wastebins: It would be more convenient to have a bin in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. • Towels: The bath towels felt a bit thin. Adding two smaller hand towels to the room would be a great touch. • Ventilation: I noticed a slight odor in the room whenever I returned from outside, suggesting the ventilation could be improved. I hope these comments are helpful. I look forward to staying with you again.
