Our stay at Hotel Oktogon was very pleasant ! The staff were consistently warm and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The whole building was air-conditioned, which was a welcome relief after a long day out in the heat. Our room had lovely high ceilings that made it feel more spacious, along with AC. The hotel's architecture is beautiful too, especially the main hall, which added real character ! Breakfast was another highlight: a fresh, varied buffet spread that was delicious, and overall the hotel offers excellent value for the price. The location is great too, central, convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend !
We stayed at the wonderful Hotel Oktogon for four nights. There's a lot of history with this hotel, it's only been a hotel since 2022. Our room was on the 6th floor, the highest you could go, amazing views. Sleek elevators, wonderful staff, wi-fi is fast and password protected. Breakfast for us wasn't included, so 40 Euros for two persons. We thought that was fair, breakfast was incredible. Tram #4 and 6 are right out the door. Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms are outstanding, couldn't be better. Loved our stay.
Fabulous hotel, our stay was perfect and central to main city. We made our own fresh juice in the mornings and breakfast was great in every way. Beautiful room and architecture within the hotel is just perfect for photos. We used the gymn and saunas and all was quiet and clean. Room silent at night with the blackout shutters heavy windows and aircon on. We loved our trip and the hotel just enhanced it!
Love this hotel. It's an easy ride from the main train station and easy to find. The staff at check-in were very nice and helpful. The inside of the hotel is lovely. Our room, a Superior Twin, is small, but the storage, bathroom, and Nespresso machine are well organized to make the best use of the space. There's a big TV mounted on the wall and, something we really appreciated, a small in-room fridge. Every tall celeinga and the blackout shade was great because we wer facing the morning sun. You can hear a fair amount of hallway noise from other guests coming and going. You can also hear the cleaning staff working in the morning. The wifi and AC worked perfectly. The location couldn't be better. There's easy access to trams and buses, and it's only a short ride to almost anywhere. There's plenty to eat and do in the immediate area. All in all, we loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Oktogon. The location is excellent, just steps from Oktogon Metro Station, with trams and buses nearby, making it easy to get anywhere in Budapest. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean. Our room wasn't very large, but it was comfortable and well maintained. The hotel offers massages and facials, although we found them overpriced compared to nearby alternatives. We didn't try the breakfast. The only issue during our stay was that we called reception twice asking for an iron and were told it would arrive in a few minutes, but nobody ever brought it. Other than that, everything was great. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.
