My experience in the Benczúr hotel is amazing !! 6 min away from the nearest Metro station and 8 min for bus by walk. The room is clean, cozy and nice (with a mini fridge). The house keeper put Doggy on the bed after room cleaning, they have wit 🤭 Our room also had aircond and a bathtub (v. important for me). The hotel restaurant is also amazing, the price is very decent and the quality of food is impeccable (source: my order and the neighbouring table’s which I overlooked). The waitress lady was also very sweet 🥹 Thank you for your service !
A wonderful hotel! The price was very reasonable and affordable, and it's a 10-minute walk from the metro. It's located in a very quiet and cozy area with stunning Hungarian architecture. A beautiful park with unforgettable sights is nearby, and the minibar offers affordable drinks and is regularly replenished. A big thank you to the management for a wonderful stay! I stayed here from June 21st to 24th
I stayed there for a single night. It’s pretty old but very well maintained. Kinda romantic to be fair. The room was pretty nice, but I have no idea why service is that bad. The receptionist was fine but super weird, rude the way I call it. Also, the bar man was the rudest I have dealt with in my life! Can’t imagine they are not taught what service is all about!!!! Like why kinda bar man says I can’t help you!!! That have to be a joke!!! Also, while checking out, the receptionist didn’t even bother to take the keys, he just said leave them at the counter!! I guess they are trained to teach clients to never book there again! I have checked other reviews. Clearly, management doesn’t care since many complain about the staff, repeatedly lol
I stayed at Benczúr Hotel from Thursday to Sunday and had a wonderful experience throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pleasantly warm, and the service was excellent at all times. What impressed me most was the food. I rarely get to enjoy meals of such high quality, and as someone who is not from Hungary, I especially loved the Hungarian specialties. The cuisine felt truly refined, and at every lunch and dinner there was always at least one dish that stood out as exceptional. The same was true for the desserts — each meal seemed to include one that was an easy 10/10. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and honestly had nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.
