Probably one the best rock pubs in Budapest. in weekends it's a little overcrowded, the music is great , many beers to choose from
It's an absolutely meticulously decorated bar. Flags, banners, decorations, etc... It fully lives up to its name. Full rock. When I first walked in, I saw groups of friends who were generally older. It makes me happy to see people of this age hanging out and having drinks in such nice places :) The staff were polite and helpful. The seating areas were a bit uncomfortable, but tolerable for the ambiance.
This place was fantastic - we spent pretty much two of our three nights in Budapest here. I’m into good beer and rock/metal, and it hit the perfect balance: classic rock through to Metallica, without anything too growly or screamy. It was also played at a sensible volume. Loud enough to enjoy and get into, but not too loud that you couldn't talk to the person next to you. The beer selection was tremendous, with plenty on tap and fridges packed full of options. Spirits were also impressive, including band-specific ones like Motörhead vodka, Thin Lizzy and Volbeat rums. There’s plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, and the whole atmosphere was spot on. Really enjoyed hanging out here - definitely a highlight of the trip.
We walked by this place by chance and just had to step inside. The rock music in the background was excellent—great vibe and perfectly balanced volume so you can actually have a conversation. The fact that there’s no smoking inside is an absolute delight. They offer a wide selection of beers, and the design of the bar is unbelievably cool. I only wish I had a place like this near my home!
Classic rock and metal bar. Atmosphere amazing, beer selection huge, prices a little above average. Self service at the bar. Been there a few times and some bartenders are cordial and speak English, while others are borderline rude and don't speak at all. Good place to get drunk, meet people from all over the world and listen to classic rock. 🤘
