We had a great time tonight. The DJ was outstanding (sorry never got his name). We enjoyed the vibe and got right into it. Ala and Pany looked after us for drinks. The menu was extensive and when we asked to go off menu they were more than happy to accommodate. We are only here for a short time, but will love to go back here before we leave.
We found this incredible spot tucked inside the Wonder Budapest hotel, and it completely blew us away. The environment is amazing it feels intimate, cozy, and distinctively stylized without trying too hard. Look at the details in here: the ceiling alone is gorgeous with these heavy, dark, and gold patterned panels and deep red velvet drapes that give it an upscale, vintage speakeasy vibe. But the absolute standout feature is the bar backdrop. There is this glowing, stained glass artwork of a couple holding a light that looks like a piece from a museum, especially with the silhouettes of the cocktail bottles sitting right in front of it. The seating area feels just as rich, with deep crimson velvet seating, plush leopard print chairs, and a wild leopard mural on the wall illuminated by these quirky, feathered green lamps. We ordered their signature cocktail and asked for a specially made mocktail. Both were fantastic, incredibly well balanced, and served beautifully with fresh mint. The staff was super friendly and kept the whole mood relaxed. What I loved most was that despite the excellent music humming in the background, it’s kept at the perfect volume so you can actually sit, unwind, and have a real conversation. If you want to escape the crowded tourist tracks and experience a truly beautiful, low-key spot for drinks, you have to find this place.
What a WONDERful hotel to celebrate a birthday in BUDAPEST! The ambiance was exceptionally stunning - elegant décor in the Popolare restaurant and a vibrant, yet sophisticated atmosphere with unique lighting design in the Coco Bar, where a great DJ provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening. The service was equally impressive, with a friendly and attentive staff. The authentic Italian food was outstanding - the Mascarpone e Prosciutto with fig jam pizza was a standout dish, and the giant Tiramisu mountain was one of the highlights. At the speakeasy-style Coco Bar, Anna took wonderful care of us. She was friendly and highly knowledgeable about the wide selection of cocktails, and genuinely invested in helping us find drinks that perfectly matched our preferences. It was an unforgettable night out - we can’t wait to return and enjoy the rooftop as well!
The bar has a fantastic atmosphere, and the drinks are simply outstanding! There’s no doubt it’s a perfect spot for a get-together with friends or a celebratory toast with colleagues.✨
Gorgeous bar inside hotel, staffs were nice and helpful. Recommend coming in and enjoy the ambiance.
