Absolutely a 5/5 experience, and hands down the best fine dining experience that we've had here in Budapest (we've lived here for a long time and visited a lot of restaurants). All the staff: super kind and nice, the service was maybe the best I've ever come across in Hungary. They clearly have a set of standards which everyone is executing immaculately. The food: Ah-ma-zing. Simply amazing. We had the Bull tasting menu, and right from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, all the courses reached the altitude. Very very delicious. The interior: Modern, stylish, calm and comfortable. Decorated with a good taste, which gave a great backdrop to great dining. Absolutely amazing, we will surely be back, and next time we'll bring friends. Thank you so much!
We received great service from the beginning to end, especially Bernat. The caviar tasting was very good - although I would ask for more blinks next time. The Hungarian champagne and wine we were recommended were both excellent and the chateaubriand was amazing. Personally I do not like to be served cold Bernaise which has the consistency of mayonnaise, but my boyfriend loved it and he is usually very choosy. All in all a fantastic experience
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was outstanding from start to finish. They surprised us with a small cottage cheese palate cleanser at the beginning, and honestly—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Such a simple idea, but incredibly delicious and a great way to kick things off. We ordered ribeye steaks, and they were cooked to perfection—whether medium rare or rare, every bite was spot on. You can really tell the chef knows exactly what they’re doing, so kudos to the kitchen! A special mention to our server, Mr. Matyasi Bence. He was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff overall were lovely, and the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting. The only tiny note would be that the salad was a little on the salty side, but it was such a minor issue compared to everything else. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend.
Caviar & Bull: A Masterclass in Budapest Dining If you are looking for a masterclass in Budapest dining, look no further than Caviar & Bull. From start to finish, the experience was simply the best. The service team—Dorina, Géza, and Nelli—perfectly balanced warmth, expertise, and soul. The food, however, was the real showstopper; the tuna, seabass, and steak featured a harmony of flavors unlike anything I've tasted before. Caviar & Bull is the definition of true class.
I’m so happy to have had this meal on Christmas. Whether it’s the bread or the dessert, I think everything was flawless. Although the price is really not cheap, overall I feel it’s totally worth it, especially the caviar and popcorn lobster. The moment you eat it, that salty, savory aroma just bursts in your mouth. Every portion was just the right size. Even though this time it was the Christmas menu, I believe coming back next time for the regular à la carte will be just as outstanding.
