What a stunning Hotel! We were a bit sceptical as it was so cheap - but it's 5 star all the way - Excellent customer service -friendly staff from the minute you walk into the reception. Amazing rooms - huge beds with the highest quality mattress - Attention to detail is stunning with lights, fittings, mirrors, huge flat screen Smart TV, coffee machine as well as a traditional kettle... not to mention a Great Spa with sauna and steam room - just an amazing 5 star Hotel for a 3 star price in a brilliant location with staff that really do seem to care about their guests. Hotel Wonder by far exceeded our expectations and definitely made our stay the more memorable.
We stayed at WOND'R Budapest for my birthday weekend, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel feels like stepping into a movie set. It balances historic charm with sleek, modern luxury in a central location near the Hungarian State Opera. The arrival sets the tone immediately. You skip the cold, corporate reception counter and enter a warm, personal atmosphere instead. Our room featured high ceilings, soundproofed walls, and stylish touches like an ornate gold frame around the flat-screen TV. The staff went out of their way for my birthday. They left a handwritten card signed by the team alongside a celebratory balloon in our room. The breakfast setup is another major highlight. Instead of a crowded buffet, they serve a calm, à la carte breakfast at marble tables. We enjoyed specialty coffees, fresh juice, a wooden crate of sourdough bread and pastries, homemade spreads, grilled sourdough sandwiches, and poached Eggs Benedict. The property also houses an Italian restaurant, a cozy speakeasy cocktail bar, and a boutique wellness spa. You can explore the entire city by foot from here, yet the hotel feels like a quiet sanctuary. We will definitely return on our next trip to Budapest.
We stayed at Wonder Budapest for five days and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The building is new, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with modern technology. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were attentive and welcoming, especially Julie, who made each morning even more enjoyable. I would also like to give special thanks to Virag and Sara at the reception desk. When I had an issue with a fake taxi driver, they went above and beyond to help me. You truly saved me that day, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Wonder Budapest, for making our stay so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.
A beautiful hotel with amazing, spacious rooms. The beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms feel new and luxurious. We loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend it. I’m sure as it becomes more popular, it’ll get even busier. The location is great too. Overall, we absolutely loved this place.
Amazing hotel, close to all places you wanna be at as a tourist. Super friendly staff. Super stylish! And very clean which i can highly appreciate. It helps of course that everything is still very new. I hope it stays this way. Would definitely recommend this place!
