Nice enough hotel , staff pleasant and friendly enough , breakfast is nice with a reasonable selection of foods , small 24hr bar if needed , compares to a UK travel Lodge sort of style . It is in a slightly run down area of the city and some of the side streets aren't the best and theres not much around it , but saying that walked round late in the evenings without any hassle, small tesco shop on the corner which was useful for light snacks and drinks ect , very close to the tube station which is good as the main tourist areas are quite a walk away . Was quiet noisy if your staying in a room on the front due to traffic and the trams as they seem to start running around 4:30/ 5ish in morning . All in all pleasant hotel for a cheaper base , would i stop there again , yes for the hotel , and No for the area ( but as I said never had any bother or aggravation walking around )
Very friendly staff, they are always ready to help you and give you advice about visiting Budapest. The hotel has adopted an interesting way of decorating the walls with images from the city. The huge prints are combined with a somehow industrialized design. It looks different, but nice. Everything is clean. Breakfast is great, a lot of choices for all the tastes. There's an underground station right next to the hotel and also a tram station. That's why, in case you dislike the noise of trams, you should call in advance and ask for a room which is not facing the main street. The hotel is in the centre, but you have to walk at least 25 minutes to get to the Danube. Use the tube in case you want to save time and energy, but it's also nice to walk and discover more about Budapest. Not far away from the hotel, there's a Time Out, where you can discover a great variety of cuisines from around the world (Asian and Hungarian). As you get closer to Danube you can discover more and more from Budspest: beautiful streets with restaurents and cafes, small shops and of course the beautiful buildings. Overall, it's a great place, especially for those who like to discover more about Budapest, not just the main touristic sights.
The hotel is very convenient with metro and tram stations few minutes away. Rooms are spacious and well insulated that you won't hear much noise from outside. The breakfast is lush with a variety of food from cereals, hot sausages, cheese, cold cuts and pastries. Highly recommended.
Great hotel thats very modern. little bit outside of the main areas but are easy to get to. metro is a couple of minutes walk away, several trams & buses pass by quite often. not much going on around the area however there is a few bars & cafes towards the rear of the hotel which are about 8 minutes walk. staff are very helpful & friendly. room was cleaned every day. Nice selection at breakfast. only downside is we were at the front of the hotel & round about 4am the trams start passing & are very noisy so didn't get much sleep after that but that is no reflection on the hotel as they do not control the trams & there's nothing they can do. apart from that we had a great experience there & would definitely stay again if we ever visit Budapest again 10/10
Great location- a 2 min walk from the metro and tram station. Amazing value for what we paid, with breakfast included. Reception was very helpful with any questions we had. Rooms were huge too. Only flaw was the shower which created a pool in the bathroom.
