Such a lovely hotel, sweet and helpful staff, and clean rooms. The tram is lotterally just outside, which makes it easy to get to and from the hotel to the city center, or wherever you want to go

I chose this hotel for the pool and it didn’t disappoint! A beautiful 50m pool for a pre-breakfast swim. What a find. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast was great and the location was perfect. I highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is quite old, which is noticeable throughout, but it is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for luxury, there are more expensive options available. They don't have their own restaurant, but you can arrange a breakfast that is truly hearty and filling. The rooms are great—it's rare to find a hotel that heats so well in the middle of winter. Considering all aspects, it’s a really great stay. They are also pet-friendly and even offered to clean our room on the second day. Parking and Transport: The hotel doesn't have its own parking. On-street parking is limited to 3 hours on weekdays. If you arrive by car for a longer stay, I recommend parking in the large underground garage about 1.4 km away (approx. €1/h, card payments accepted). From there, you can take a taxi or a tram (3 stops) to the hotel. We found it best to buy a 72-hour public transport pass, which covers all trams, buses, and the Metro. The system is incredibly well-organized. The tram stop is only 20-30 meters from the hotel, and the bus stop is about 200 meters away on the Danube side. The location is excellent—you can reach the city center on foot in about 10-15 minutes by crossing the bridge.

If you like staying active and keeping up with your training while traveling—like I do—I really recommend this hotel. For only 100 euros per room for four people, you get a free outdoor 50m pool (yes, even in winter, the water is around 24°C), plus a free sauna and breakfast! You can also go for a beautiful morning run on the nearby island that has a running track and lots of locals out jogging. The loop is about 5 km. And the Hungarian Parliament is only 2 km away, so you can even walk there. Breakfast is simple but tasty. The rooms are basic, but clean and warm. At first there was a slight bleach smell, but it faded quickly. The only downside is the parking—there’s no hotel parking, and street parking can be pricey. Overall, I really loved this place!

I went there three times because it was very close to my dental clinique. It is not super. The rooms are VERY small and there is quite a lot of noise from the Tramway just outside. The staff is VERY kind. As a vegan still and at the time, I couldn't have much to eat at breakfast. I stayed there because it was very close to my dental clinique - that was the only reason. If you have more courage than me, I would recommend Hilton Budapest.
