Highly reccomended the hotel, staff are brilliant, rooms are great and location is perfect for buda, service only got 4 stars as breakfast service was a litte slow, but nothing to put us off returning.... if you going to stop in buda... stay here!
First thanks for our perfect vacation in Budapest.Now about the hotel - located next to Mayor's Office and Ministry of Defence.Very close to Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle in Castle District.Very spacious cozy rooms art decorated.Owned by Zsidai Family, who owns Jamie's Italian,21 and Pest-Buda restaurants in the same area,which you must visit /at least one of them/. Beautiful area around the hotel with great /especially night/ view of Budapest.
This hotel is superb, it is fabulously and whimsicaly designed, each corner in it has something nice quirky hidden in it. Our room had this magnificent high ceiling and heated floor in the bathroom. The service was exceptional as well. I think it is a freat stay for couples, loners, families and all. Beutiful and highly recomended.
Absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, with great attention to detail. The staff truly made the experience exceptional — professional, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality ingredients and a great variety. The location is also ideal, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing stay. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value, comfort, and service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and memorable experience.
EDIT: Two weeks later and no one has been in touch. Always looks good on a review when there is a response to an issue but there was no follow-up and I don't expect one. Very chic hotel located in a very quiet section of castle hill. We stayed in the KING OF THE CASTLE SUITE which was very nicely appointed and huge. There is a bus that is passes in front but we ended walking which was quite the workout but well worth it for the views and scenery. Unfortunately we were told that breakfast was not included in our stay and ended up paying for every breakfast in the adjoining restaurant only to find out we did have the breakfast option with our booking when checking out. Front desk told us they would credit the amount but never got back to us. Very disappointing after spending thousands only to be swindled out of a few euros.
